"We make a living by what we get,
but we make a life by what we give"

WHO WE ARE
Get Well Project is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide clean water to residents of rural Cambodia by constructing drilled wells in their communities.
It was founded by Sinwon Seng of Ontario, Canada in 2016.
— Our Mission
To improve the lives of the poor by providing their communities with clean water.
— Our Story : Starting in Our Own Backyard, Literally
In 2016, after being laid off from her executive job, Sinwon decided to book a flight to Cambodia. It’s been seven years since she’s been back, and a visit with her grandfather was long overdue.
Upon arriving at her grandfather’s house in the Province of Kampong Speu , she quickly realized that the living conditions have not only gotten worse, but the well that she and her father had built in 2008 on her grandfather’s property is no longer operable. Being that it was the only source of clean water in the community, many families, including her elderly grandfather, resorted to fetching water from unsafe water sources such as man made ponds and rivers. Their only other option was to walk many kilometers to get water from a neighboring village. For them, this was an entire days’ work.
After seeing first hand the desperation and lack of government assistance and urgency to rectify the problem, Sinwon knew that the only way to help this poor community was to do it herself. Through the help of family, friends and acquaintances, Get Well Project was able to raise $7,000 which set them on their first successful mission trip in May, 2017.
